New Year...off we go!

Happy New Year everyone. 2008 has been an experience, hasn't it?! We had some wonderful things happen this year...completion of our house, Ashley graduating from college, and the biggest of all, the birth of our beautiful baby girl, Brooke. We've also been very challenged this year...completion of our house, the economy, and our home business of the vineyards and winery not being as successful as we would have liked.

So, its time to take a deep breath and move on. The house is going on the market in the next week or so. We'll be checking with our real estate agent to see if its better for us to be occupying the house, or if we should try to move out as soon as possible. We're looking at rental homes in the Issaquah, Sammamish, Woodinville, Duvall area. If you have any references for us for a rental, please let me know. I'm also looking for part time work. I'd like to be able to work from home in the evenings if possible, or outside of the home in the evenings.

We are still waiting to hear from the Navy about CJ's deployment. We have been very pleasantly surprised that a notice hasn't come down the pike about that, and we are counting our blessings for the delay.

2009 is on its way...looking forward to a fresh start somewhere and to continue to watch my beautiful children grow and loving my husband. Blessings to all, much love. P
