Without fanfare, quietly he leaves again

This morning we put CJ back on a plane again, this time for the long haul. It's very different from the news stories that you see on TV when a full military company leaves and they get a big send off celebration. Not with the Individual Augmentees, they go quietly, practically unnoticed. And their families go home to live their lives in regular communities that don't always understand the pressures and difficulties of military life.

CJ is off to do good work for us all. I'm so very proud of him and pray that he keeps out of harms way. The clock starts ticking again when he is home for R&R but it's a long way off. But at least the timer has started so we were closer to him coming home than we were even this morning.

God speed my love.
